Enhanced Prayer List for

August 1-4

○  Wednesday, August 1 — Pray for our times to fellowship
The Bible tells us to “think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works and let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…(Hebrews 10:24-25).” Pray for our times of fellowship: during our family meals, Bible studies, and our linger longer times. Set it in your mind to make the effort to be an active participant in of our times of fellowship.
○   Thursday, August 2 — Pray for our young adults
Give thanks for the young adults who worship with us and recall those you know by name. Ask God to pour out His Spirit on them so they may continue to develop a heart for Him, His Word, and His ways. May they grow in love, unity, and compassion as they worship and study with their Christian family. Seek ways to encourage and minister to them.
○   Friday, August 3 — Pray for our state
Today pray that the Gospel will be boldly proclaimed in our local churches. Pray that we can be a light to the world. Pray for the light of Jesus to shine brightly from our churches to our leaders and to the thousands of people who visit here every day.
○   Saturday, August 4 — Pray for my faith
Ask God for help. “…help me overcome my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). Increase my faith. Ask God to help you trust as you attempt great things for Him; help you stand strong as others try to sway your convictions; help you know that nothing is impossible with Him. Ask God to give you faith to move mountains and to take the first step.
